Church Council President, Jason Freeman, has called for a special congregational meeting immediately following the 9:45 worship service in Life Worship Center. Acts: The Acts of the Apostles
This sermon series which will go through May 26, takes us right through the book of Acts from beginning to end. If you have never read Acts straight through you will gain a new understanding of the vast sweep of this story. We will watch as the Holy Spirit takes 120 initial believers and expands the church into the then known Greco-Roman world. We'll see how the early disciples dedicated their lives to the spread of the gospel and how they faced and overcame the challenges of a world that was hostile to the early church. Our hope is that you will find this story exciting, inspiring, and probably convicting as you come to appreciate the sacrifices those early Christians made for their faith.
Open Prayer Meetings Every Thursday
Come and pray for our congregation and ministries! All are invited to join and experience the Open Prayer Meeting every Thursday from 12:00 to 12:45 pm in the Prayer Room in the South Hallway.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
