Eight Days logoEight Days of Hope

Eight Days of Hope was meant to be a one-time visit to the Gulf Coast with a handful of people after Hurricane Katrina. God has allowed this ministry to blossom into so much more! On several different occasions, thousands of volunteers have ministered to people’s needs after Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Irene, Isaac, the floods in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Nashville, Tennessee, Black River South Carolina and the tornadoes in Northeast Mississippi and Northwest Alabama. Eight Days of Hope has one goal: Love and Serve those in need!

St. Mark's is currently forming a team to serve with Eight Days of Hope in Louisiana serving Lafayette Parish from June 4th through the 11th. Thousands of families are still in need of help as they wait to rebuild following the record flooding last year! This area has experienced devastating damage. 140,000 homes were damaged in the state in August as over 20 inches of rain fell in a short period of time causing over $15 billion dollars of damage! Please consider praying, volunteering or donating to this cause. Click here to donate, and here to register to volunteer.

Hope Reigns

Hope Reigns is a rapid response team ministry of Eight Days of Hope. This new ministry began in 2014 to provide early support to victims of tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, etc. within 48 to 72 hours of the disaster. St. Mark's members supported several different Hope Reigns events in 2015.
